Clickiez® Switches (Clicky)

Weight: 40g

1 Order = 10x Switches

Our long awaited premium clicky switch is finally here! After years of development and countless rounds of prototyping, samples, and delays, what better gift is there than to release the Clickiez® on Christmas day?

Clickiez® are offered in two weights:

40g bottom out (73g peak force, 32g actuation)
75g bottom out (95g peak force, 58g actuation)

Clickiez® are the world's first 3-in-1 MX switch that can transform into three different MX style switches via a non permanent mod to the leaf. These switches are fully compatible with Cherry profile keycaps when used with South facing switches (LED slot facing South, or in this case Zeal Logo facing South)

Featuring a Patented (US: US11923157B2, CA: CA3207809C) multi mode click leaf design, this switch can be transformed from Clicky to Ultra High Tactile (think BKE level, but even more extreme) to super smooth Linear switch modes by simply moving the secondary switch leaf within the housing. Demonstration video will be provided in January 2022. Please note that this mod will require opening the switch, and we do not provide any warranties or replacements for user damaged switches or leafs. We do not carry spare / loose switch parts as all switches are factory assembled.

This switch uses Gateron's latest CAP series design to add stability to the stem, while also making it more lube friendly. Gone are the days where switch lube pools into the bottom pole.

Please note: These Clickiez are NOT compatible with Costar stabilizers due to the click leaf design for the housing causing interference with the wire. Please use Cherry style stabilizers only.

In stock shipping out same business day / next business day.

Overpriced, of course. But...

It's a unique clicky design and we don't have enough of those. It's much too tactile for most, myself included, and I think they could have alleviated that by using short springs. I swapped to 14mm 50g TX springs, which just barely fit on those stems, and for me that was a substantial improvement. Of course they're not "worth" this absurd price (and I mean the "sale" price—LOL) but nobody else makes anything quite the same as this—Melodics are nice but they're very different—so until someone else rips this off you're stuck paying the premium if this is what you want. If you're the sort of tool who says things like "it's worth what people are willing to pay" then maybe you could say these are "worth it". Obviously some people, myself included, were willing to pay. I didn't feel good about it, though.

Giving a score on the review feels silly. Of course it's priced for suckers, and the ultra-tactile feel is off-putting, and some of the switches in my batch sounded different from the other switches and were therefore unusable. And even 100 of these didn't qualify me for free shipping within Canada. If this was a linear switch I'd be giving it the one-star review it deserves. But it's a unique click design, and it works, so they deserve ample praise for that, in spite of everything.

The switches are exactly what I'd hoped for. They are very well built, have a distinct click, and were delivered very promptly.

Click click

I'll admit that I was interested in these in order to piss off my HR department after a sound complaint, but I really do enjoy these switches. Yes, they're loud. Yes, you got put some force into (I have the 75g), but I find myself getting into a flow and enjoying writing out long emails. I can see myself getting some more in the future

I Love them

I have not used real ALPS switches, but these are the best clickies I have used in the cherry form factor.

It would be nice to be able to dial back the strength of the tactility when converting to tactile mode; it is quite a monster that way, but still a nice sharp tactility.

Incredibly fast shipping and delivery; product actually arrived before estimated date. Very high-quality switches and packaged well with little damage. A pin appeared to be bent on 2 switches but they were easily straightened and now seem to work flawlessly along with the rest of the batch. Great company; would definitely buy again.
Highly recommend these switches if you want a heavy, typewriter-esque sound with a deep bottom-out. I like heavy switches, but I got the 40g varient after hearing that they're still very heavy; I totally concur. I'm glad I didn't go with the heavier option actually; would've probably been uncomfortable and quite difficult for me to type on.
